workflow
The WW Technology team works closely with clients to test the process on various materials and develop applications. Our main assets are several years of experience, developed skills and know-how in the context of the WoodWelding® technology as well as an established global network of industry partners. A typical client relationship usually develops as follows:

presentation and demonstration
A more detailed presentation of the technology as well as a demonstration of the WoodWelding® process are offered through a visit to our development labs in Biel, Switzerland. We require that the interested party signs a standard confidentiality agreement.

"proof-of-principle" tests
We perform initial tests using the client's materials and produce a so-called "proof-of-principle" report. Test projects usually require 2-3 weeks and cost CHF 5'000 - 15'000 per phase.

development projects
Provided that the test phase produces positive results, we begin full-scale application development. Application development is usually split into 2-4 phases with defined milestones. The result will be an application solution ready for pre-production. Application projects last anywhere from 6-18 months (depending on type and complexity of the project).

license contract
A license contract will be drafted in parallel with the development project. The final contract will regulate the geographical market, application area etc. of the customer's use of the WoodWelding® technology once the product or application has been launched in the market. The license contractual partner will be WoodWelding SA, as the owner of the IPR and know-how concerning the WoodWelding® technology.
