Pernilla Kvist, Swedish
Managing Director
Pernilla was formerly the Stockholm-based Nordic marketing manager of an IKEA Group company, responsible for the group's consulting and investment activities in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. After leaving Sweden, she worked for an Austrian mobile network operator ("ONE"), and was responsible for developing business solutions at the time of network expansion following the national launch. She has a degree in management from the Stockholm School of Economics and Business Administration, Sweden.
Dr. Jörg Mayer, German
Managing Director
Jörg spent more than ten years with the Chair of Biocompatible Materials Science and Engineering at The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology as Vice Chairman. He also supervised more than 25 PhD students and was project leader for numerous implant development projects in co-operation with major medical device manufacturers. He worked as scientific advisor in the process of spinning out four medical device companies. He was the initiator of the Life Science Park Zurich Initiative. He got his engineering and PhD degrees from, ETH Zurich and holds several scientific awards.
Peter Brunner, Swiss

Peter has a master's degree in mechanical and biomedical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Previously he worked for medical device companies in the orthopaedic industry responsible for leading R&D teams in the development of novel fracture treatment concepts. He also served as the divisional head for the Swiss Confederation's innovation promotion agency CTI in the Life Sciences area. Prior to his industrial career he worked as a research scientist at the M.E. Muller Institute for Biomechanics at the University of Bern.

Mario has a degree in timber engineering. He has spent five years in R&D at the Swiss School of Engineering for the Wood Industry in Biel, Switzerland, with main focus on the development of new bonding solutions for wooden material using friction welding technologies. He is mostly active in R&D, procedural and hardware development in WW Technology AG's non-medical projects.
Stephanie Mehl, Germany

® technology at the school, and later on to refine the technology at WW Technology AG.

Marcel Aeschlimann, Swiss

Marcel is Partner and Shareholder of Creaholic SA in Biel, Switzerland. He has degrees in microtechnology and entrepreneurship, and has been with Creaholic SA since the early 1990s. He has worked on a range of highly innovative projects in the medical, sports, packaging and consumer industries. He is one of the inventors of the WoodWelding Base Technology and is on the Board of three technology based companies.
Dr. Gerhard Plasonig, Austrian
Delegate of the Board
Gerhard is founder of GP International SA (GPI), Zurich, Switzerland, an IPR and technology investment and exploitation company. Before starting GPI in 1998, Dr. Plasonig worked for 7 years with The Generics Group, Cambridge, UK (an IKEA Group Company). He was a Member of the Board from 1994-1997. He also worked two years for Pugh Roberts Associates (an M.I.T. spin-off) in Boston, US. He has a degree in automotive engineering, a doctorate in strategic technology management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and he was a Fulbright doctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology in Cambridge, MA.
